What We Do

The Second Chance for Life Foundation is a heart transplant/LVAD/mechanical heart support group. It is a non-profit, volunteer organization founded to support transplant recipients, candidates, their families, and donor families, and to promote organ donor awareness.

The Second Chance for Life Foundation was formed in 1988 by a group of heart transplant recipients: Craig Ayers, heart #30; William Holden, heart #80, Joseph Keating, heart #81; and Cal Stoll, heart #128.
